25-26 сентября 2012 г. в Кыргызско-Российском
Славянском университете (КРСУ) состоится Международная научная конференция
«Этносы и культуры Кыргызстана в их историческом взаимодействии:
тюрко-славяно-германские культурно-языковые связи».
Организаторы конференции – Научный центр «Перевод»
КРСУ, Учебно-научный центр регионального славяноведения КРСУ, дипломатические
миссии.
Конференция посвящена изучению истории и современного
состояния культурно-языковых контактов кыргызов и других тюркоязычных этносов,
населяющих КР, со славяно-германским миром, вопросам межкультурной
коммуникации, литературных связей, художественного перевода, преподавания
неродных языков в условиях многоязычия (см. Приложение 1).
Форма проведения конференции – очно-заочная,
предусматривающая как личное присутствие участника, так и представление только
текста научного доклада и информации об авторе.
Рабочие языки: кыргызский, русский английский,
немецкий, польский.
Одобренные Оргкомитетом и редколлегией материалы будут
опубликованы в «Вестнике КРСУ» (издание входит в перечень ВАК РФ).
Требования к оформлению присылаемых для публикации материалов:
см. Приложение 2.
Пролонгированные сроки подачи заявки на участие: до 15
августа.
Заявочная информация: см. Приложение 3.
Для каждого участника конференции оформляется
специальный сертификат. По решению Оргкомитета и членов редколлегии авторы лучших
докладов удостаиваются специальных дипломов.
Участники конференции оплачивают дорожные расходы,
проживание и визовое оформление. Взнос для участия в конференции: 500 сомов для
участников из стран СНГ и 10 евро для коллег из стран дальнего зарубежья.

The Central Asian Faculty Development Programme (CAFDP) of the
University of Central Asia (UCA) is pleased to announce its 2013-14
scholarships for Doctoral studies at partner institutions around the world,
including the University of Cambridge, UK, German universities through partners
The CAFDP of UCA offers support for Central Asian scholars to
pursue doctoral studies, with the understanding that upon graduation they will
work as UCA faculty for a minimum of five years at the Graduate School of
Development and/or the undergraduate School
of Arts and Sciences at UCA's campuses
in Khorog (Tajikistan ),
Naryn (Kyrgyz Republic )
and Tekeli (Kazakhstan
Eligible fields
of study:
Natural and Applied Sciences: Biology, chemistry, biochemistry,
applied physics, geology/geosciences, applied mathematics, computer science,
engineering sciences (environmental engineering, complex systems analysis and
design), environmental sciences and environmental earth sciences, rural
development and natural resource management.
Social Sciences and Humanities: Archaeology, cultural
anthropology/ethnography, economics, sociology, Asian and Middle Eastern
studies, development studies (economics), ethnomusicology, mountain tourism,
public policy and business (with a focus on entrepreneurship).

Application for the CAFDP Scholarship is a two-step process: (1)
Eligibility for CAFDP – Applicants are required to first meet UCA's eligibility
criteria; and (2) Admission to Partner University – candidates considered
eligible will then be invited to submit full applications to partner
universities to secure admission. UCA will work with candidates to select the
most appropriate programme and university, based on students' field of study
and available opportunities.

The American University of Central Asia’s Tian Shan Policy Center
(TSPC) is pleased to invite interested scholars to conduct research in Kyrgyzstan Central
Asia . As a policy think
tank established by the American University of Central Asia ,
TSPC draws on the diverse expertise of its faculty and partners to carry-out
research programs and projects in collaboration with international institutions,
government agencies, and nongovernmental organizations. American
University of Central Asia is situated
in Bishkek , Kyrgyzstan Kyrgyzstan Silk
Road trading route. As the
only democracy in Central Asia , scholars find
this a key area in which to conduct research on the region and as a means for
extending their networks.

Background
Information
The Project USAID Dialog on HIV and TB that financed by the USAID
aimed to reduce HIV and TB spreading in the Central Asian countries through
changing risk behavior among population that at most risk to be infected by
these diseases.
Within this project IOM implementing program on prevention, HIV
and TB detection among migrants as well as social escort of the migrants living
with HIV and TB in the three countries: in Kazakhstan
in Almaty, in Kyrgyzstan in
Bishkek, in Tajikistan
Terms of
Reference
·
To conduct regular assessment of
the knowledge and skills of the outreach workers in Bishkek;
·
On the basis of the assessment to
adapt communication strategies on HIV and TB prevention among migrants;
·
To conduct regular refreshable on
the job mini trainings and seminars for NGO partners, outreach workers and
volunteers in Bishkek on HIV and TB prevention, social escort, adherence to
treatment, monitoring and evaluation, as well as other issues identified during
the project implementation.
·
Jointly with NGO partners of IOM
to develop recommendations on updating informational-educational materials
taking into account migrants needs.
·
To assist to project manager on
strengthening social partnership between NGOs and services providers
·
To assist to NGO partners in
developing success stories on project implementation in Bishkek
Expected
Outputs:
The outputs expected from this consultancy will be (i) to conduct
four educational mini trainings\sessions among outreach workers and volunteers
on monthly basis;
·
report on monitoring and evaluation of the
outreach work in Bishkek on the weekly
basis;
·
two success stories on monthly basis;
·
monthly reports on seminars and mini trainings
conducting;
·
recommendations on updating
informational-educational materials for
migrants
Requirements
for the candidate

University degree in medicine, Social Science or related fields;
·
Previous experience on conducting
seminars, trainings on TB and HIV prevention among adult audience;

Experience on monitoring and
evaluation;

Understanding of the migration
health issues and priorities;

Excellent knowledge of Tajik, and Russian;

Excellent communication skills;

Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Program. The RA will be contracted for a
four-month period from September 1 until late December 2012 and will be paired
with an American FLEX Recruiter. The recruiting team will travel extensively

Scope of
